Visit the "Amazon of Asia" wonderland: Direct charter flights to Sarawak, Malaysia during Chinese New Year

Sarawak in Malaysia is a natural ecological treasure, with two-thirds of its land covered by pristine tropical rainforests, earning it the reputation as the world's second lung. At the 2016 ITF Taipei International Travel Fair, the Sarawak Tourism Board unveiled incredible green miracle deals to take Taiwanese travelers on a journey of exploration to the "Amazon of Asia."

This pristine land of Sarawak is home to 11 national parks and 2 wildlife centers. With its dense rainforests and the most natural and pristine ecology, it fosters a rich diversity of species. In addition to being called the Amazon of Asia, it is also regarded as a treasure trove by many scientists and natural ecology researchers. Soon, Taiwanese tourists will be able to fly directly to this hidden paradise for some deep breaths, escaping the hustle and bustle of civilization to cleanse their souls.

The inaugural direct flight will be a Chinese New Year charter flight this year. Upon arrival at the local airport, there will be a grand welcoming ceremony. To ensure visitors can still enjoy the festive atmosphere during the Chinese New Year period, traditional performances such as lion dances will be held. Additionally, the summer charter flights for 2017 are scheduled to operate from June to August 2017, with a total of 19 flights planned.
