Report (By Wang Xiaoxiao) The sixth Canadian Ski Fashion Show was recently held at Nanshan Ski Resort, kicking off the 2015-2016 series of winter promotion events in Canada. At the event, 10 ordinary skiing enthusiasts made an appearance dressed in apparel from leading international ski brands, staging a "fashion show on ice and snow."
The "Ski Fashion Show" is held at the beginning of each ski season, on the first Saturday of December. This year’s event was jointly organized by Tourism Canada and Beijing Nanshan Ski Resort, marking the third time the two have collaborated. During the event, 10 ordinary skiers selected through an online audition transformed into "ski supermodels," showcasing themselves on a snowy stage wearing ski apparel and gear provided by the organizers from leading international brands, presenting the healthy, sunny, and confident image of skiing enthusiasts. At the same time, the show also introduced and reviewed various brands in terms of appearance, functionality, safety, cost-effectiveness, and more, offering suggestions to skiers on purchasing skiwear, ski equipment, and other gear.
