I’ve collected some pretty useful diving spot information to share with you all~~


Aiqinhai Diving in Yalong Bay
　The waters of Yalong Bay are the cleanest, clearest, and most enticing among the three bays in Sanya, naturally making it the best place for swimming and diving. Not only is the seawater crystal clear, but the underwater world here is also incredibly vibrant. So when you visit Sanya, after enjoying the scenery and playing on the sands and in the sea of Yalong Bay, be sure not to miss the chance for an intimate encounter with the native inhabitants of Yalong Bay’s underwater world.



Wuzhizhou Island Diving
Wuzhizhou Island is one of the few small islands around Hainan that has both freshwater resources and rich vegetation. The seawater here is extremely clear with visibility up to 27 meters. The magical underwater world of Wuzhizhou Island gradually unfolds before your eyes—crystal clear and within reach. Scenes once only seen on DISCOVERY are now right in front of you: soft sea anemones, colorful clownfish, spiky sea urchins, chubby sea cucumbers, lobsters, and a rainbow of tropical fish.
Notes:
　　1. When going diving at Wuzhizhou Island, bargain hard to avoid being overcharged.
　　2. A 200-speed outdoor color film is recommended for capturing the scenery here. For professional photography, a UV filter and polarizing filter are essential. Remember to clean your camera lens frequently with lens paper to prevent damage from seawater and sand.


Xidao Diving
Xidao is located in the center of Sanya Bay, about 8 nautical miles from the city center. Together with Dongdao, the two islands resemble two riding sea turtles in the blue waves, forming the historic scenic view known as “Waves Floating with Two Turtles.” With its beautiful mountain landscape, charming coral reefs, clear seawater, and soft beaches, Xidao has become one of the top destinations in Sanya for sightseeing and leisure vacations.
The Xidao Ocean Culture Tourism Resort consists of two main areas: the Xidao Marine Amusement World and the Niuwangling Scenic Area. Here you’ll find crystal-clear seawater, soft sandy beaches, swaying coconut groves, steep rocky coasts, and a colorful underwater world. There are also dynamic and thrilling water sports, fashionable and fantastical submarine tours, and relaxing beach activities.
Transportation: 8 kilometers from the city center, a 25-minute boat ride.



Dadonghai Coast Diving
Dadonghai is situated between Luohu Hill and Yulin Port. Just a 10-minute drive east from the city center will get you there. The bay is bow-shaped, with two small parallel mountains to the southeast acting like walls built into the vast South China Sea, forming the bay and a natural barrier. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and the sea on the other, Dadonghai features rows of emerald green coconut palms framing the beach. The unique beauty of its azure sea, green hills, and white sands has earned praises from tourists both at home and abroad.
On the small hilltops by the sea of Dadonghai, there are uniquely shaped rocks and splashing waves, with concrete paths winding up to the mountaintop. At the summit, there are stone tables, benches, platforms, and pavilions offering sweeping views of the South China Sea, which are truly refreshing. Dadonghai has no hidden reefs, features clear water and flat sands, gentle breezes and mild waves, and enjoys spring-like weather all year round, making it the ideal natural beach swimming destination in southern China.
