1. After each trip, clean the inner and outer tents, poles, and stakes—mainly removing snow, rain, dust, mud, grass, and small insects.
2.Avoid cooking or smoking inside the tent. High temperatures and open flames can be very damaging to the tent. If the weather outside is severe and you must cook inside the tent, place aluminum foil or another heat-insulating material under the stove and open all the tent’s vents and doors.
3. When using the tent, do not wear shoes inside the inner tent, as dirt and stones stuck to the soles can easily tear the fabric, compromising its waterproofing.
