The Laishui River Valley is located at the western peak of Baicaopan in Laishui County, Hebei Province, only about3hours’ drive from Beijing. This is a pristine river valley that has not yet been officially developed. With interlacing mountains and winding streams nearby, it serves as a great place to escape the summer heat and an ideal spot for walking on ice in winter. The once gently flowing river freezes into a thick layer of ice in the bitter cold, and you can bring a portable stove to have a hotpot directly on the ice—a truly unique experience.
