Bizarre alert, creepy alert, not for the faint of heart, absolutely chilling alert — near Notre-Dame Cathedral stands a museum dedicated to the study of all kinds of deformed creatures. Also known as the Museum of Pathological Anatomy and Teratology, this museum was built1835(year not provided), by surgeonGuillaume Dupuytren(name not provided). Preserved in formaldehyde are specimens of malformed creatures, including not only human bodies, animals, and fetuses, but also diseased organs such as tumors and cysts. In this museum, it seems that every blink challenges your tolerance limit: deformed genitalia, diseased organs, mutated tumors, conjoined twins, and children's skulls afflicted with hydrocephalus.……Yet next to each specimen, there are detailed annotations and pathological analyses, so visitors here aren’t just thrill-seekers — many are medical students. Everyone who walks out of the exhibition hall can’t help but deeply appreciate the blessing of being healthy.
