On February 1, 2016, the second Nanshan Children's Ski Race was held at Beijing Nanshan Ski Resort, with nearly 120 young participants. The competition featured separate events for boys and girls, divided into age groups: preschool, lower elementary, and upper elementary. Among the six groups, the oldest participant in the upper elementary group was 12 years old, while the youngest in the preschool group was born in November 2011. All children who successfully completed the race received prizes sponsored by REIMA and TANABE, and the champions of the six groups were sponsored by Nagano’s Shiga Highlands to experience skiing in Japan, participating in the 68th Amateur Ski Competition to be held on April 17, 2016, at Yokoteyama Ski Resort.
On April 17, participants will compete and engage in friendly exchanges with young skiers at the 68th Ski Competition in Shiga Highlands.
