The ISPO Beijing 2016, the 12th edition of the Asia Outdoor & Sports Trade Show, was grandly held from February 24 to 27, 2016, at the National Convention Center (CNCC) in the capital city of Beijing, alongside the concurrently held Alpitec China 2016, the 8th China International Mountain & Winter Sports Machinery Expo. The winter sports section saw a significant increase in scale compared to previous years. As one of the most important professional trade shows in the Asia-Pacific sports and fashion industry, the ISPO Beijing 2016 exhibition gathered 490 exhibitors and over 700 brands, showcasing the latest products and technologies across various fields including winter sports, outdoor activities, extreme sports, sports fashion, and functional fabrics and materials. At the exhibition site, HowToTrip interviewed Tim Felton, General Manager of KEEN Asia Pacific. Below is the full interview transcript:

HowToTrip: Can you tell us about KEEN’s corporate culture?
Tim: We run a global social innovation project called “KEEN EFFECT” to support individuals or organizations engaged in environmental protection activities. We received thousands of applications from around the world and ultimately provide small grants to 20 organizations.
We have a mantra that says “Follow Your Footprint,” which is meant to inspire you to follow your own courage and intuition, to explore how actions can create impact — that’s what we’re all about, because when you truly follow the path in your heart, you can make a difference in the world. Just like how you always have the passion to protect the things you love, and that can bring about change.
