Close your eyes and listen to the melodies of the forest.
I imagine crossing over mountains,
and I also imagine galloping across vast grasslands,
I believe in the wild, unrestrained dreams of splendor,
and I also believe that under the starry sky of LOVE Camping,
there are the most sincere smiles,
chance encounters,
and sweet memories with you.

A huge recreational space.

San Cheng Shan family camping is actually this amazing.

Cherry blossom forest + Jioujiufeng = perfect match.

Just seeing this scenery makes the trip worth it, doesn’t it?

Morning light under the five-needle pine forest.

Not just a family campsite – during flower seasons (plum and cherry blossom seasons), this is the place to camp.

The campsite offers a wide range of recreational facilities, all available for use.

Baisha Pond Recreational Area.

San Cheng Shan Light Food Café.

San Cheng Shan shows full love for nature.

Numerous recreational facilities (rapidly expanding – various ones to be completed within this week).

Camping is the best way to nurture happy family bonds.

A campsite in the forest.

A scenic viewing platform that gets more beautiful as night falls.

San Cheng Shan becomes more enchanting as night falls.

San Cheng Shan’s baked light meals make dining at the family-friendly leisure campsite most convenient.

Five-star cleanliness in bathroom facilities – 100%.

San Cheng Shan family campsite site layout chart:

Take the Caotun Interchange at 5 kilometers on National Highway No. 6.

Turn left toward Guoxing.

After passing the 25-kilometer mark of Provincial Highway 14, please keep to the right.

Pass under the school overpass.

At the 25.4-kilometer mark on Provincial Highway 14, turn right onto San Ceng Lane.

Travel for about one kilometer and you will see the sign for San Cheng Shan; please turn left to enter.

The directional signs along the way are very clear (the road is under widening but there are many passing points). It takes about two minutes to get through the small lanes, then continue straight to the camp headquarters at the end.

Walk uphill (keep climbing) to reach the camp headquarters to check in and reserve your spot.

After checking in and setting down your gear, please head to the designated parking area (it doesn’t get muddy even when it rains).

Parking layout diagram.

Since this camping site at San Cheng Shan isn’t crowded, Master He had booked the whole place for night rides, so I could choose my own campsite.

Of course, I chose this Section A2 with big trees and tables and chairs.

Camping is best when you travel light and keep it relaxed.

Section A2 has an excellent vantage point for photography.

Sections A1 and A2 are adjacent areas, and the lawns are quite beautiful.

This photo shows the lawn more clearly.

The drainage ditches next to A1 and A2 ensure good water runoff even when it rains (the construction was done with care).

The lawns in front of A1, A1, and the awning area are seamlessly connected and very nice.

The campsite allocation for the A3 awning area is quite generous.

I’m really satisfied with this spot—how about you?

The campsites in the A3 awning area have great ventilation due to their high clearance.

The A3 awning area offers large campsites at 4x6 meters.

The campsites are bright, clean, and free of defects.

Safe power supply.

The centralized water drains for Section A are all located next to A3 (the water drains are centralized here for aesthetic purposes).

Overall, there’s enough space in the front for everyone to set up an additional living tent to increase the living area.

This gives you an idea of the size of a typical tent (width 4 meters).

The entire front area is recreational space, perfect for kids to play, which is great.

Since there aren’t many campsites, the space feels much quieter at night.

If every camping trip were like this, I’d definitely sleep very well—haha.

A4 scenic wooden boardwalk area (super convenient for unloading gear).

Honestly, this kind of view isn’t often seen at grassland campsites in Caotun.

It offers an incredibly expansive vista where you can take in the full panorama of Jiujifeng.

This platform provides a very safe space to use.

Waterproof power outlets.

The sink is placed along the pathway for aesthetic purposes.

Also, the use of natural logs and their thickness are excellent — it’s a really reassuring campsite.

It’s just a pity we didn’t set up a tent here tonight; it would’ve made for some great night scenery shots. Still, it’s pretty amazing.

A-area restrooms ×5.

For male use only.

The restroom cleanliness is off the charts.

Please spray the dedicated toilet seat alcohol before use.

The shower area has flat racks that are all very convenient to use.

The best part is the entire space is covered with moisture-proof panels — super thoughtful.

Five-leaf pine white sand area.

The most popular swing area.

Planned location for the colorful nature slide in the five-leaf pine forest.

The entrance to B-area is very well designed.

Morning sunlight only starts to shine in after around 8 AM.

B1 area features wooden boardwalk camping spots, with space in front to add a day tent or living tent.

Adding a small canopy in the front creates a larger activity space.

But the canopy shouldn’t be too over the top — the grassy area in front is still public recreational space.

All campers this time were part of quiet groups, and once it was time, noise levels were kept extremely low.

Electrical safety.

B2 camping spot — scenic wooden boardwalk area.

Waterproof power outlets.

The camping spot in front is an open space, with pre-installed safety tent rope hooks on the boardwalk (reversible use).

Basically, setting up a living tent under the stairs in front of the tent is quite convenient.

The night view would’ve been absolutely stunning if the weather had been better.

Please note that the dishwashing sinks in B-area are centralized.

There are low-wattage LED garden lights under the trees in the woods at night.

There is a large grassy area in the center of Zone B that can be used for activities.

Zones B3 and B4 actually only accommodate three tents at present.

The space utilization is really fantastic—after all, it’s so huge.

The quietest group for night photography.

Let me introduce the San Cheng Shan Bakery Café next to the camp headquarters in Zone B.

The dining area is bright, has a canopy for shade, and is extremely cool.

Everything is very clean—the camp is kept meticulously tidy, not to mention the restaurant.

All baked goods are made fresh on the day—so good.

Meals can be ordered at any time during dining hours, making it perfect for casual family camping without the hassle of cooking.

The most popular way to camp nowadays is to spend as much time as possible with the kids, right?

Finally, let’s take a look at the most important part—Zone B, with its six-star bathroom facilities.

Located in the innermost part of Zone B (in the style of a cabin).

Mosquito screens have been added to keep insects out (there’s an outdoor sink outside).

Bright usage space (for men only).

Much cleaner than my own home.

This space is really amazing—it’s perfect for family bathing.

Female restroom (shot by Master He during a night shoot when no one was around in the morning).

Amazing, right? No need for more words.

San Cheng Shan is a surprisingly great new family-friendly campsite.

Considering that there aren’t many family campsites in Nantou at present, I think this one will become very popular.

The campsite features the most beautiful ornamental tree clusters.

It also offers top-quality wild camping environments for families.

Come to San Cheng Shan and listen to the voices the earth and forests have to tell.

I think you’ll definitely be captivated by it.

A light-travel camping trip brought us to NO:192 Camp / the Connected Camping Road, and luckily we got NO:102.
