Taiwan's One Piece Themed Restaurant Begins Tasting Menu Testing; Official Facebook Page Releases Sneak Peeks

At the end of October, Japan’s ONE PIECE announced that the first officially licensed overseas “One Piece themed restaurant” will be located in Taipei’s Dongcheng District, Taiwan. It seems the restaurant is currently in intense preparation, and although the opening date has yet to be confirmed, the official Facebook page has already released photos of three tasting menu items and some interior shots of the restaurant.

These three tasting menu items include Beef Rice, seafood pasta and salad. The beef rice features beef brisket covering the entire bowl, topped with a generous amount of chopped scallions and a raw egg yolk; the seafood pasta is topped with high-end ingredients such as sea urchin and salmon roe; as for the salad, it includes a whole peeled orange, and the vegetables and fruits used are grown by local small-scale Taiwanese farmers using the most natural and healthy methods.
