Remember those student days when you’d stare at the ceiling in a summer afternoon, watching the ceiling fan spin round and round, waiting for the bell to ring? This seascape café, transformed from an abandoned elementary school on the northern coast, brings travelers back to those wonderful school years, allowing them to daydream to their heart’s content.

The owner originally ran a pottery and teaware studio and fell in love with the seascape and tranquil vibe here. After winning the bid, they decided to turn the second floor—the spot with the best view—into a seascape café. They hope that travelers to the northern coast can take a break here, sit down with a cup of coffee, and comfortably admire the view through the large floor-to-ceiling windows.

As you step into the café, you’ll see it’s filled with colorful wooden desks and chairs from the student days. The owner collected these pieces from various places, then reinforced their structure and gave them a fresh coat of paint—this process took nearly half a year. Another highlight here is the “driftwood maze.” The owner is not only a business operator but also an artist who has his own ceramic brand—you can also see his works in the café.

Moreover, all desserts are handmade, with the lemon cheese cake being the signature recommendation. Made with cream cheese and freshly squeezed lemon juice, it contains no added thickeners.
