An incubator for young dreams – Pingtung’s newest attraction, the “Youth Innovation Village”

ThePingtung Youth Innovation Village, built from 53 shipping containers, opened in November. In addition to bringing together the energy of young entrepreneurs and giving their dreams a starting point, it has become Pingtung’s newest attraction, featuring a retro record-player barbecue, a family restaurant, as well as spaces for craftspeople and photographers. It’s Pingtung’s newest and trendiest spot.

The container-based innovation village is also known asthe “P Village.”It serves not only as an entrepreneurial base but also hosts pop-up markets regularly, where crafts and photography teams set up shop. Visitors can explore many restaurants and studios, including a retro record-player barbecue that turns the turntable into a grill — you can barbecue while listening to music, making for a very creative dining experience.

Operators say that the first phase includes craft and photography teams, a dried flower studio, and restaurants. Singer Rainie Yang’s sister, Leanne Yang, has partnered with the Leap Love Association to run the family-friendly restaurant.
