Muztagh Ata is the third highest peak of the Kunlun Mountain Range, standing at an elevation of 7,546 meters. It is the preferred choice for those advancing to climb 7,000-meter peaks and serves as an acclimatization mountain for preparing to tackle 8,000-meter peaks. Covered in snow year-round, Muztagh Ata features over ten glaciers due to its developed glacial landforms, with ice thickness at the summit reaching 100–200 meters. It is often hailed as the “Father of Glaciers.”
