Event Introduction
On August 6-7, 2016, Yijii Fitness Camp teamed up with CoolPower Sports to hold the 2016 Chongli Mountain Carnival & RUNNING Chongli Summit Trail Race at the Chongli Dolomiti Mountain Sports Resort.
This will be a carnival of food and wine, a race against white clouds and windmills, and a test of physical strength and willpower. Along the way, you’ll enjoy blue skies, white clouds, green grass, flower fields, windmills, and farmland—every step will be a feast for the eyes. Beyond that, you’ll experience the off-road thrill not found in road running, the freedom not felt in the city, and the adrenaline rush missing from the daily grind. This is also China’s first integrated fitness challenge and trail running event, combining numerous outdoor activities into one large-scale sports carnival. It marks the debut of the Yijii Comprehensive Fitness Challenge, aiming to become the most professional fitness competition in China. Leveraging Chongli’s rich mountainous natural resources, it will offer participants, partner brands, and businesses an authentic mountain carnival experience.
Event Highlights: 1. A Summer Retreat — This mountain carnival will take place at the beautiful Chongli Dolomiti Mountain Resort, located on Xique Liang in Chongli County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. The area boasts stunning scenery, distinct seasons, fresh air, and an idyllic atmosphere, with around 300 days of clear skies each year. The summer average high temperature is only 24°C, making it feel like a natural air conditioner. The mountains are covered with thick, dark, fertile soil, perfect for a variety of wildflowers, earning it the nicknames “Wildflower Garden” and “Natural Park.” The beauty here will leave every participant with unforgettable memories.
2. A Gastronomic Feast — Simply put, we’ve prepared a Chinese-Western buffet worth 88 RMB for each participant, plus a serving of barbecue and a craft beer from Niu Pi Tang. Plus, you’ll have the chance to taste the red wine personally brewed by trail running king Zhuangzhuang (François D’Haene). Come for fun, but definitely come to eat and drink well!!!
