On August 12, the press conference for the "13th China (Beijing) International RV & Camping Exhibition & 7th China International RV & Camping Congress," themed "Discover the RV World," was officially held at the RV World Beijing RV Expo Center. Nearly 100 participants attended, including representatives from industry brand enterprises and mainstream media journalists. The organizers provided a detailed introduction to the preparation status of this exhibition and camping congress.
Thematic activities align with market trends, building a new framework for RV and camping tourism
With the growing demand for personalized travel in China, the new lifestyle of self-driving and RV dwelling has created huge market consumption needs, and the construction of RV campsites has garnered high attention from the state. At the National Promotion Meeting on Self-Driving & RV Campsite Construction held on July 5, the China National Tourism Administration, together with the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Land and Resources, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and Ministry of Transport, offered insights and strategies to accelerate the construction of national self-driving and RV campsites and promote the development of self-driving and RV tourism.
In 2016, China will build approximately 500 self-driving and RV campsites, driving an investment of about 35 billion yuan. Industry insiders point out that, according to the general patterns of world tourism development, in the era of mass tourism, self-driving and RV tourism will become the mainstay of the tourism market. With the arrival of the self-driving travel era, there is significant room for development in both the quantity and quality of campsites in China, and RVs still hold vast potential for overall growth.
