2016 Guizhou Yilong International Mountain Outdoor Products Expo Concludes Successfully
The 2016 International Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports Conference — Mountain Outdoor Products Expo concluded successfully on September 25. The expo featured over 100 well-known brands from both domestic and international markets, attracting nearly 10,000 visitors each day.
The 2016 International Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports Conference was held in the Qiannan Buyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. “Tourism” and “sports” were the key themes of the event, and both shared a common foundation: “mountains.” Undoubtedly, such an event helps promote Guizhou’s distinctive tourism identity and enhances public awareness of fitness and sports. Against this backdrop, the Mountain Outdoor Products Expo exemplifies the organic integration of sports, culture, and tourism.
The expo was divided into nine major zones, each offering unique highlights. The rock climbing and slacklining zones showcased the fusion of sport and art, while the air sports zone provided simulated experiences that effectively popularized aviation knowledge. The outdoor club section introduced classic routes, inspiring new adventure concepts among outdoor enthusiasts. The modified vehicles and RV display area delighted car aficionados, and the comprehensive outdoor exhibition area showcased a wide range of clothing and equipment for various outdoor activities.
While the exhibition hall buzzed with excitement, the outside was equally lively. Off-road modified vehicle exhibitions, hiking events, and cycling rallies delivered one spectacular performance after another for attendees.
