On October 10, the "Ride to Heaven Road" 318 Sichuan-Tibet Cycling Extreme Challenge officially commenced. Since its inception, the challenge has been renowned for its "high altitude, great difficulty, and the most magnificent route," attracting many outstanding cyclists eager to push their limits. Throughout this arduous journey, the Beidou Box, with its excellent performance, served as the technical support product for positioning and communication during the event, effectively ensuring the safety of all riders.

Organizing events in western regions means unexpected situations are never truly unexpected — only with well-prepared emergency equipment can an event be considered fully prepared. The organizers provided 50 sets of Beidou Boxes for participants and on-site staff. The Beidou Box is very easy to use: frontline staff simply download the Beidou Box app in advance, pair it via Bluetooth, and then can compose and send satellite short messages directly within the app.

In addition to offering satellite positioning and short message capabilities in areas without public network coverage, the Beidou Box team also provided the Beidou Dispatch Command System for the event. This system enables quick information management for effective dispatch and command. Once the "Extreme Tracking" function is activated on the Beidou Box, it automatically transmits positioning data every two minutes. The rear base camp can then monitor the box’s location in real time through the dispatch command system, generate movement trajectories, and effectively oversee any incidents during the event.

A representative from the Beidou Box team stated that as a professional outdoor satellite communication device, the Beidou Box has always been a strong supporter of various outdoor and off-road challenge events. They also hope to promote the development of China's BeiDou Navigation Satellite System through these competitions.
