On November 4, 2016, the “Newly Promoted 5A-Level Tourist Attractions Plaque Presentation Ceremony” hosted by the National Tourism Administration was held in Beijing. Chen Zuyao, General Manager of Wuhu Fantawild Tourist Area under Fantawild Holdings, attended the ceremony and received the 5A-Level Tourist Attraction plaque on behalf of the Fantawild Tourist Area from Li Jinzao, head of the National Tourism Administration.
Eight Years in the Making: Wuhu Fantawild Awarded 5A-Level Status
The Wuhu Fantawild Tourist Resort consists of four theme parks—Fantawild Adventure, Fantawild Dreamland, Fantawild Water Park, and Fantawild Oriental Heritage—as well as the supporting themed hotel, Fantawild Hotel. It is understood that Wuhu Fantawild officially launched its 5A-Level Tourist Attraction creation project in 2012. Since then, the resort has consistently held itself to the rigorous standards required of a 5A-Level attraction, improving the site across eight major criteria including tourism safety, sanitation, and transportation. In August 2016, the National Tourism Administration held a press conference approving Wuhu Fantawild Tourist Resort under Fantawild Holdings as a 5A-Level Tourist Attraction. Wuhu Fantawild successfully made the prestigious leap from a 4A-Level to a 5A-Level national tourist destination.
