On December 3, the second China Mass Skiing Technique Grand Prix Xinjiang Altay Division Selection Competition, jointly organized by Yongle Sports, Dalian Ski Association, and Zhangjiakou Ski Association, and hosted by Beijing Ice and Snow Jiahua Sports Development Co., Ltd., successfully concluded at Altay General's Mountain Ski Resort. Choosing Altay—the birthplace of human skiing—as the first stop of this competition attracted numerous ski enthusiasts to sign up, including a youngest participant who is just 12 years old. After fierce competition, 8 athletes stood out and will represent Altay General's Mountain Ski Resort in Xinjiang at the national finals.

The second China Mass Skiing Technique Grand Prix is currently the largest mass skiing event in China. The competition includes 10 stops across 7 provinces in Northeast, North, and Northwest China. The event features divisional dual-ski technique selection races as well as alpine and snowboard giant slalom and slalom events, moguls, and team performance competitions in the finals. The competition is divided into men’s and women’s categories but has no age or regional restrictions, with a total prize pool of up to RMB 450,000.
