At 10:00 AM on December 18th, Xiangxi Red Stone Forest will welcome a group of world-class stars — the world’s most popular basketball stunt team, the Harlem Wizards from the United States.
Over the past 90 years, the team has featured numerous NBA superstars, set 9 Guinness World Records, performed in more than 150 countries and regions, and staged over 6,000 shows.
These basketball legends have captivated fans worldwide with their jaw-dropping ball-handling skills and dazzling acrobatic performances.
Representing the highest level of modern basketball stunts, they promote a healthy, joyful, and positive image of the sport, showcasing the latest charm of basketball to audiences around the globe.
That’s right — they’re coming to Xiangxi Red Stone Forest.
Unlike traditional tours, this time the Harlem Wizards will take their show from indoor arenas to nature, heading to the death-defying sinkhole in Xiangxi Red Stone Forest — the incredibly thrilling site featured in the TV drama "Blood-Colored Xiangxi" — to perform basketball stunts like never before.
"Death-defying challenges" were a form of competition used by the Tujia people to resolve irreconcilable conflicts, presided over by respected local shamans. The filming location for these death-defying challenges is none other than the recently viral second stop of "Dad, Where Are We Going?" — Xiangxi Red Stone Forest.
The death-defying sinkhole is located at the Baobao Ping scenic area in the Red Stone Forest. The most thrilling part? Crossing the sinkhole. A single log is placed across a five-zhang-wide (approximately 16–17 meters) sinkhole, and challengers must stretch their arms out and carry six incense sticks while crossing. Opponents then take aim at the incense with two guns, firing six shots. The one who crosses with fewer incense sticks extinguished wins; failing to cross means certain death.

an unprecedented modern basketball miracle.
As shown in the photo above, Harlem Wizards players will attempt a trick shot challenge from point B inside the sinkhole toward point A, 15 meters away. Due to the irregular shape of the court and wind conditions, the difficulty level is extremely high.
What?! They can actually make those shots?!
