Today, the Adidas Group, together with two of China's most popular rising sports stars—freestyle swimming champion Ning Zetao and women's volleyball team captain Hui Ruoqi, officially launched a marketing campaign in China under the theme "I Am One in a Billion." Guided by the New Grand Design strategy for Greater China in 2020, the campaign aims to encourage the public to actively engage in sports and inspire them to fully unleash their athletic creativity.

Adidas Group Greater China Managing Director Colin Currie said, "Adidas has always been committed to inspiring people to participate in sports, and we are honored to have athletes like Ning Zetao and Hui Ruoqi join us. Creativity is at the core of Adidas' business, and everything we do is about unleashing creativity. We will continue to work closely with our brand ambassadors to promote the development of mass sports in China and encourage consumers to express their creativity and individuality through sports."

Since 2015, Adidas has promoted the core concept of athletic creativity globally under the slogan "Sport Needs Creators." In early 2016, Adidas launched the "Create It Yourself" marketing campaign targeted at female consumers, one of the brand's largest marketing initiatives. The campaign aimed to encourage more women to participate in sports and showcase their individuality. It featured collaborations with many influential women, including world-class tennis star Xu Shilin and the Chinese national women's volleyball team. Additionally, the campaign shared authentic stories from athletes to inspire women to awaken their own athletic creativity and reach new possibilities.

"Athletic Creativity" calls on everyone to tap into their potential and creativity in sports, fully enjoying the performance that creativity brings. The idea behind the "I Am One in a Billion" marketing campaign is simple: by awakening your own athletic creativity, you can not only become the "one in a billion" on the field to win the game but also elevate your life to new heights and live it to the fullest.

Ning Zetao and Hui Ruoqi are part of the new generation of China's most talented and popular sports stars. Ning Zetao achieved a miracle by winning the men's 100m freestyle gold medal at the Kazan World Championships. As the captain of the women's volleyball team, Hui Ruoqi's exceptional athletic performance has drawn widespread attention, and she led the team to victory at the 2016 Rio Olympics after overcoming numerous challenges. They have not only achieved outstanding results in competition but also demonstrated remarkable creativity, ultimately reaching new heights in their lives and winning medals—exactly what Adidas has always strived for. Their stories will inspire and motivate more consumers to embrace sports and live vibrant, healthy lives through creativity.

Adidas has consistently worked with its ambassadors to strengthen communication and interaction between the brand and consumers. Last June, global brand ambassador David Beckham attended the opening ceremony of Adidas' first global football flagship store in Guangzhou. In the same year, Adidas also invited top European football clubs Ajax and Manchester United to participate in training activities at its campus football project in collaboration with China's Ministry of Education.
