According to foreign media reports, on February 10 local time, the British Superbike Championship (hereinafter referred to as “BSB”) announced that DRIFT INNOVATION (hereinafter referred to as “DRIFT”) will provide on-board high-definition action cameras for its motorcycle races from the 2017 season. Other suppliers selected alongside DRIFT are well-known brands in their respective fields, including the veteran motorcycle manufacturer Yamaha, Italian protective gear giant Dainese, and professional racing fuel and lubricant producer WP Racing.
It is reported that DRIFT’s newly launched flagship action camera, the Ghost 4K, will be used this season, and the thrilling race footage captured by the Drift Ghost 4K will be available for free online viewing on the BSB official website and social media platforms. Stuart Higgs, the person in charge of this year’s British Superbike Championship (BSB), said in an interview: “Superbike races always deliver a strong sensory experience to fans, and on-board cameras will enhance that experience for fans around the world. The partnership between BSB and DRIFT means we can showcase even more power and speed during each BSB race week.”
