The starting point of the traverse is on the Norwegian coastSignaldalen, and the endpoint is in a village in the Swedish Lapland mountainous region Jukkasjarvi. The entire journey spans330kilometers and takes place across the polar wilderness more than200-300kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. With fierce polar winds and snow, and highly changeable weather, the conditions put great demands on gear. Participants will drive a dog-sled across desolate, uninhabited, and spectacular Arctic wilderness, traversing barren tundra, frozen lakes, and snow-covered forests.
