Let’s get to know all the heroes!

No. 1 Sunshine Lover Xie Baotang

Independent producer and journalist, started shooting documentaries as a hobby in 2002. Fifteen years of field shooting have made me fall in love with hiking, camping, cycling, road trips, trekking, mountaineering, and photography. I have driven to Tibet solo three times, Hainan twice (circumnavigated the island), and the Daha Highway once. After hiking to the South Tianchi of Bogda Peak three times, I actively promoted high-altitude environmental protection volunteer activities and filmed the 2009 Muztagh Ata Environmental Protection Volunteer Action and the 2010 Oytag Glacier Environmental Protection Volunteer Action. Years of field filming have made me deeply understand the importance of outdoor gear — they are as essential as a soldier's gun or a journalist's camera. With them, you are sure to win every battle!

Loves sharing good products with others, believing that in the outdoors, gear is not only vital for safety but also essential for life.

No. 8 Zhanlu Shanlin

I’m Shanlin from Tianjin, a mechanical engineer—and an unorthodox one at that. Since university, I’ve been committed to the outdoors—cycling, hiking, climbing snowy peaks, orienteering, stream tracing, marathons, trail running, kayaking. I’m not a professional athlete, just someone who’s simply stuck with it for over a decade, driven by that primal passion for over ten years. In recent years, I’ve come to realize another word—balance. Juggling roles as a son, husband, father, and professional, I’ve always aimed to strike a balance between family and work, making sure I can go out and also come back. I hope to promote this lifestyle to more friends who are similar to me.

No. 9 Anran Cao Naimu

Got into outdoor sports in 2005. Tested products for renowned domestic and international outdoor gear brands such as Crispi, Kailas, adidas, Salewa, MBC, Aulooc, Fire-Maple, Free Soul, Montane, and Krosstorm. Participated in and organized multiple long-distance cycling tours and races, solo completing the Sichuan-Tibet Southern Route. Joined the “300 Li of Daling” – a Tang Dynasty imperial mausoleum hiking exploration team in the Guanzhong region, responsible for route planning and logistics.

A product designer in the cosmetics industry for 15 years and with 9 years of outdoor experience. Passionate about fitness, strength training, running, and mixed strength workouts. Specializes in high-altitude expeditions, route planning, travel photography, and GPS map drawing. Extremely particular about gear. As someone originally trained as a fashion product designer, my professional habit of meticulous detail control has carried over into life—I want every product consumers receive to be flawless. Applying that professional mindset to life might be a bit too strict, but that’s also my attitude and ethos when selecting outdoor gear.

No. 13 heheyoucai Guo Jiapeng

A native northerner born in the 80s who’s lived in the south for over a decade. Works in multimedia production and travels to Nepal for hiking every year, having completed famous routes like Poon Hill, ABC, and ACT. Stubborn yet persistent, because I believe the essence of outdoor gear is functional products that integrate into daily life and can save lives in emergencies. Due to my heavier build, I’m very selective about brands, prioritizing protection above all. Also a bag enthusiast—I don’t care for flashy looks, just low-key practicality. A loyal fan of domestically made DIY tents. Hope to share personal insights and directions from a user’s perspective at the Asia Outdoor Industry Awards.
