Puli’s Green Oasis Camping Site: Breathtaking Lake Views & Nearby Free New Attractions

Puli’s finest water is right here—tea brewed with it tastes incredibly sweet.

Exit National Highway 6 at KM 34, Puli Interchange.

Dripping Water Mountain Villa is located at KM 36.5 on Provincial Highway 21—it’s quite easy to find.

Upon entering the villa, the left path leads to the camp headquarters, while going straight takes you to the campsite.

Before entering the campsite, check in and register at the reception first.

First zone at the entrance: Area A.

Area A, close to the camp headquarters, is surrounded by trees.　

Therefore, Area A has little issue with western sun exposure and feels much cooler in the afternoon.

The scenery in this area is visually stunning as it’s located at the highest point of the campsite.

The sink is near the main camp base X1.

Let’s take a look at Area B, where there happens to be a large tree beside the grassland, providing great shade and coolness at noon.　

Since the mountain blocking the sunlight here is quite high, the campsites near the mountainside are incredibly cool in the morning.

The grassland that has been allowed to rest for a year is truly beautiful.

Choosing this campsite this week feels like a great deal.

This spot is perfect for a small group camping trip.

The sunlight filtering through the big tree creates layers of shadow.

Tonight’s night photography session is made more fun with the Xiaobing family joining.

The sinks are generally placed near the campsites, which is quite convenient.

A & B area restrooms (deliberately using green as the base color, blending well with nature).

For group camping, if there aren’t enough sinks, everyone can wash up here (the concept of a clean place is nice).

Separate facilities for men and women on either side.

Large family bathroom (barrier-free flooring, convenient for people with disabilities).

The toilet stalls are clean.

Hairdryers are provided.

There are always recycling bins outside the restrooms (please sort your waste).

The central willow pool in the campsite (a living spring pool lined with maple trees and more).

There’s a pathway to easily walk around the lake for a full view.

Didn’t bring a small tent this time, otherwise I would’ve loved to set one up in the middle of the lake (2x2m would be just right).

Now let’s take a look at Area C.

Master He especially likes this area (it’s very convenient being close to the restroom XD).

It also has flat grassland (make sure to bring better-quality tent stakes).

The new campsite is relatively quiet; the tents set up in Area C have their canopies stretched out as much as possible.

Setting up camp facing the pool is the most relaxing option.

　

This week has been all last-minute invites—this kind of small-group camping is the most laid-back and casual.

The waterfront night view in Area C is captivating.

On camping nights, enjoy a casual drink or two—it’s the good life.

Just think, what could be a better way to live?

There is one sink at the entrance (X1).

Area D (a very large area) (sink and power supply are OK).

Currently, basic infrastructure is in place, though the ground hasn’t been leveled yet (serving as temporary campsites).

Lastly, there’s Area E (perfect for campers who love to sleep in—you’ll definitely be satisfied here).

The sunlight doesn’t last long; it only starts shining in around 10:30 AM. The facilities are generally all in good condition.

Bathrooms and toilets in Areas C, D, and E are also separated by gender.

The men’s toilet is very clean.

Men-only (no odor).

Bathrooms (three each for men and women).

Additionally, Puli has a new family-friendly attraction (and it’s free).

Mi Tian Gong on Zhongzheng Road (you can sample pineapple cakes, also free).

Only the park train requires payment (adults X90, children X60—takes a long time to go around the park).

The first-floor safe slide is the most popular.

The second-floor white sand play area (X2) is super clean.

The second floor also features a miniature model area of Puli.

Finally, the highlight: behind the counter on the second floor, the dining area offers free samples.

The staff arrange the food presentation thoughtfully—it’s totally tempting.

One serving per person (today’s sample was rose lychee pastry)—quite a large piece.

The filling is tangy and complements the flaky crust without being greasy.

Camping notice 1: Fishing is not allowed in the scenic pool within the campsite, and please pay attention to children's safety.　
Camping notice 2: On hot outdoor days, watch out for insect bites and prepare anti-mosquito products (environmental disinfection is available).
Camping notice 3: Nearby temples may have slight morning bell sounds—please be aware.　
Camping notice 4: Please note that you’ll need sturdier tent stakes—the ground is a bit hard.
Camping notice 5: The closer to the mountainside, the later the morning sun reaches—sunlight starts around 8 AM.
