The AR Tech Climbing Experience combines climbing with the hottest augmented reality (AR) technology of the moment — a real-time technology that calculates the position and angle of camera footage and overlays corresponding images, videos, and 3D models. The goal is to integrate the virtual world onto the real world on screen and enable interaction between the two.
The inventor and leading brand of artificial climbing walls — France’s EP, as the supplier of the AR climbing wall for this show, has specially announced that in support of ISPO, they will exhibit their latest AR tech wall in mainland China for the first time globally as the star attraction of the show experience. In addition, free experiences with auto-belay climbing and artificial caves will also be provided. It is reported that among these, the speed wall from the auto-belay series supported athletes in setting a new Guinness World Record for "the largest participation in a climbing relay challenge" at Chengdu Intime Center in99 in SPORTS Tech & Trend Sports Hall on May 28.Competition Dates
