On the evening of July 6 at 7:30 PM, the First Jialong Jubilee International Circus Festival in Yichun City was successfully held in the planned area of the Circus Town in the city’s new district. Leaders attending the event included Gao Huan, Secretary of the Yichun Municipal Committee, Han Ku, Mayor of Yichun, Fu Shuquan, Chairman of Beijing Jialong Investment Group, and others.
The Jubilee International Circus Festival was spectacular, attracting numerous citizens and tourists. The program lineup was luxurious, with over half of the acts having won international awards. The cast was impressive, featuring performers from five different countries. It was the largest and highest-level circus performance in Yichun’s history. It is reported that Beijing Jialong Investment Group acquired the French Bouglione Circus in 2015 with a huge investment, thereby establishing “Jubilee International Circus,” a brand-new high-end circus operation brand in China. Jubilee International Circus began its performance journey in China in 2015, achieving successful shows in cities such as Sanya and Lijiang, and receiving high praise from all sides.
The predecessor of Jubilee International Circus was the French Bouglione Circus, established in 1857. It was once appointed as the National Circus of France by Napoleon himself, and later taken over by the Bouglione brothers. After more than 100 years of history, it remains one of the largest circuses in France. Carrying on the authentic European circus heritage, the performances at the Jubilee International Circus Festival were thrilling and awe-inspiring yet retained an elegant charm, often drawing thunderous applause from the audience.
The Yichun Tourism Development Conference brought together tourism professionals from all walks of life to discuss the development of Yichun’s tourism industry. This event not only advanced the construction of a comprehensive tourism demonstration zone and the growth of the tourism industry in Yichun, but also accelerated the pace of the city’s green transformation. It received unanimous praise from both visiting tourists and local residents.
Backed by abundant natural resources and stunning scenery, Yichun has vigorously developed its tourism industry in recent years, which has gradually become a new economic growth point actively promoted by the government. The hosting of the Jialong Jubilee Circus Festival further demonstrates Yichun’s strategy to expand its tourism reach from the North China region to the entire nation, aiming to establish the city’s tourism fame nationwide.
In recent years, Yichun has made frequent strides in the tourism industry, thanks to its rich ecological environment. Coupled with the current wave of “Internet+,” the Yichun government has continuously upgraded its tourism consumption industry. During the process of green transformation, the Forest Capital and Snow City of Yichun has regained new vitality.
In 2017, Yichun successively hosted various tourism resource promotion conferences, large-scale events, attracted tourists, solicited investments, upgraded tourism facilities and experiences, and continuously introduced tourism development guidance and support policies. The tourism industry in Yichun has officially entered the fast track, stepping into a golden period of rapid development.
Located in the heart of the Lesser Khingan Mountains in northeastern Heilongjiang Province, Yichun faces Russia across the river. With a temperate monsoon climate, the city enjoys distinct seasons. Its vast land of 4 million hectares and forest coverage rate of up to 84.4% have earned it the titles “China’s Forest Capital,” “Green Yichun,” and “Nature’s Oxygen Bar.”
Currently, Yichun offers four-season eco-tourism, integrating and promoting various natural landscapes through tailored tourism products. Forests and snow are Yichun’s natural assets, and developing new tourism resources based on these is a key focus in propelling the city’s tourism industry onto the fast track.
