Taiwan has 600,000 foreign migrant workers, nearly 240,000 of whom are from Indonesia, and over 90% of them are Muslim. More and more people want to experience food from different cultures, and within Toucheng Farm in Yilan, there is a Muslim restaurant that offers meals for everyone to try.Besides enjoying meals, the farm also offers lively eco-tours and DIY activities, allowing visitors to happily enjoy nature while learning new things.

The farm tour guide, Brother Hui, leads everyone to explore the ecosystem in a humorous and witty way. A nature enthusiast who graduated from Chiayi Agricultural College, he continues to study new knowledge while guiding tours. Using words that children can understand and commentary that even adults find amusing, he heads to the farm area. Along the way, he spots a rare "Qingshan snail" and launches into an enthusiastic introduction—it’s a beautiful representative creature of the area, with a green shell. When fully grown, the shell’s lip flares outward, and its tiny eyes are located at the base of the antennae. He warns to beware of predators like fireflies—unfortunately, if eaten, the snail dies and its shell turns white. Brother Hui jokes, "We should change the park’s logo to represent this Qingshan snail."

The park grows various plants, including edible roselle flowers and kumquats. Brother Hui will casually pick some for everyone to taste the “freshly picked flavor,” and you might even get to pick passion fruit yourself.Go a bit further up and you can see cows being raised. You can experience feeding them grass, and there are some fun cow-related idioms on the nearby board, offering parent-child interactive learning.Especially because Brother Hui even got IDs for the cows—how cool is that?
