Recently, the hundred-episode action-packed children's web series "Kids Also Three Kingdoms," produced by Youth Micro Vision, has gone live and become a hit on Youku. The grand, diverse, and classic Chinese-style scenes in the show have captured the attention of many viewers. In fact, these scenes were all filmed at Splendid China Folk Village in Shenzhen.

"Kids Also Three Kingdoms" tells the story of the late Eastern Han Dynasty, when Zhang Jiao led the Yellow Turban rebels to besiege the capital in an attempt to seize the Imperial Seal. Warlords from all sides marched to defeat the rebels and support the emperor, only to fall victim to Zhang Jiao’s sorcery. The familiar heroes of the Three Kingdoms were all turned into children, thus triggering a dramatic shift in the world and setting off a quest for the Imperial Seal.

This historical drama, based on the Three Kingdoms era and acted by children aged 8 to 14, faced many challenges during the early stages of filming. One major hurdle was finding suitable locations in modern-day Shenzhen to recreate the heroic atmosphere of the Three Kingdoms. The production team was at their wit's end until they discovered Splendid China Folk Village in Shenzhen.
