Today, Na Ying issued a statement through her studio’s official Weibo account, announcing that she will no longer participate in future recordings of 'The Voice of China' and marking the end of her six-year journey with the show.
Star Club (http://www.168yule168.com) On October 11, 2017, Na Ying announced through her studio that she would no longer participate in future recordings of 'The Voice of China', marking the "official graduation of Class 6-2" and commemorating the end of her six-year tenure as a mentor.
In recent years, with the popularity of the show 'The Voice of China', Na Ying has repeatedly found herself at the center of controversy, and for a long time her role as a mentor was heavily questioned. But at the same time, she also gained a lot from the program and "always sat on the mentor's chair with the heart of discovering fresh talent for Chinese music."
After careful consideration, Na Ying decided to leave 'The Voice of China' and made it clear in her statement: "It's time to say a proper goodbye to everyone." In the statement, Na Ying expressed deep reluctance and gratitude toward the show, the contestants, and the fellow mentors she battled alongside. She also admitted that every decision she made was agonizing and overwhelming. But she still made the resolute choice: "With the conclusion of the second season of The Voice of China, all the students of Class 6-2 have officially graduated, and as their mentor, it's time for me to take a break." And she added: "This time it's really... for real." But leaving is not the end: "The green hills remain, the blue waters flow — let’s meet again in this vast world."
Netizens also expressed understanding: "Keep it up, do your best, and we support the decision you’ve made!"
