On December 3, attending guests touched a crystal ball to jointly witness the launch of the Quanling Shared Travel & Living Club

According to data from the National Tourism Administration, domestic tourist trips in 2016 reached 4.44 billion. Of these, elderly travelers accounted for 824 million trips, or 18.6%, as reported by the National Aging Office. This nearly 20% travel rate not only reflects improved living standards and changing consumption attitudes among the elderly but also signals a clear trend where elderly care needs are no longer confined to traditional models. Compared to three- or five-day or one-week trips, more seniors today, motivated by seasonal considerations and the pursuit of better living environments, prefer to travel for ten days to a month or two. As a result, the travel-based elderly care market, which blends “migratory bird-style” and “resort-style” retirement, has been elevated.

Wang Haima, Chairman of Tianlaiquan Elderly Care Group, noted in his speech that since 2007, the group has fully transitioned into the elderly care industry. Over the past decade, guided by the corporate philosophy of “maintaining cost-effectiveness while benefiting society,” it has developed into a comprehensive elderly care group integrating “healthcare R&D, healthcare education, medical treatment hospitals, and industrial investment.” The goal has been to take on corporate responsibility and jointly address this major livelihood issue of elderly care with the nation and society. Today’s official launch of the Quanling Shared Travel & Living Club is a high-quality brand of travel-based elderly care services nurtured through ten years of accumulation, effort, and careful incubation. In the future, it will continue to integrate the most suitable travel destinations and high-quality hotels across the island, the nation, and even globally, while introducing Tianlaiquan Group’s standardized elderly care models, regulated operational procedures, and large-scale management practices. It aims to deliver the best travel-based elderly care services to happy elders everywhere.

In June 2014, the Hainan Provincial Government issued the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Development of the Elderly Care Service Industry," encouraging social forces to establish elderly care institutions and supporting private capital in renovating idle factory buildings, school premises, and commercial facilities through cooperation, leasing, or purchase for elderly care use. Li Jiashuo, General Manager of the Brand Center of Tianlaiquan Elderly Care Group, stated that Tianlaiquan's collaboration with Hainan Jingdi Hotels to repurpose idle properties for aging-friendly renovations and establish the Quanling Travel & Living Club aligns with government policies. It represents a pioneering move by Tianlaiquan toward scaling up specialized services in travel-based elderly care, while also offering a new solution to Hainan’s growing elderly care demands. Following this, to further enhance attendees’ understanding of Hainan’s travel-based elderly care, the Quanling brand, and its services, Li Jiashuo delivered a keynote speech themed “Quanling Travel & Living: A Time Gift for Elders.” He elaborated on the elder-enriching nature of travel-based living, the strengths of Tianlaiquan’s travel service system, the unique features and achievements of the Quanling Travel & Living Club, among other aspects.

According to Li Jiashuo, the Quanling Travel & Living Club aims to create a dedicated entry point and service platform for travel-based living, beginning with the development of that entry portal.

It provides a comprehensive solution for societal elderly care and enjoyment services across seven dimensions: on-site reception, safety assurance, quality assurance, cost efficiency, professional travel planning, lifelong value belonging, and more. At the same time, it offers a valuable supplement to the broader social travel-based service system.

Currently, the Quanling Shared Travel & Living Club is operating as a pilot in eight hotels: Haikou Tianyi Binjiang “Quanling” Club, Haikou Tianyi Donghuan “Quanling” Club, Haikou Golden Coast “Quanling” Club, Qionghai Tianlaiquan “Quanling” Club, Qionghai Tianfuyuan “Quanling” Club, Sanya Tianfuyuan “Quanling” Club, Sanya Phoenix Poly “Quanling” Club, and Danzhou Tianlaiquan “Quanling” Club. At the event, Chen Xinbao, General Manager of Tianlaiquan Elderly Care Industry Group, presented plaques to representatives of the eight Quanling Shared Travel & Living Club hotels.

Ji Jinghong, Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Xinhua Net Hainan Channel, stated at the meeting that Hainan entered an aging society in 2001. By the end of 2014, the registered population aged 60 and above had reached 1.2552 million, accounting for 13.7% of the total registered population. According to forecasts from the Hainan Provincial Bureau of Statistics, during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the elderly population in Hainan will enter a rapid growth phase. By 2020, the number of registered elderly aged 60 and above will reach 1.68 million, making up 16.4% of the registered population. Accelerated population aging will become one of the fundamental provincial characteristics in the coming years. Faced with an expected nearly 3% increase in aging over six years, how to scale up elderly care bases and services to meet growing demand has become a major livelihood issue drawing attention from all sectors. Xinhua Net Hainan Channel has been closely monitoring this. Regarding Tianlaiquan’s innovative initiative to establish the Quanling Travel & Living Club, Xinhua Net will continue to follow its progress and leverage its role as a news source to encourage public discussion on the social challenges of aging in China, inviting netizens from within and outside the province to contribute ideas for refining and solving elderly care issues.

Additionally, to promote the travel-based elderly care lifestyle and bring Tianlaiquan’s decade-long model and services to the national market, on this year’s Double Ninth Festival, Tianlaiquan Elderly Care Group and Xinhua Net Hainan Branch jointly launched the “99 Double Ninth: China’s Happy Elders Collection” campaign. After two rounds of voting, nine “China’s Happy Elders” and their partners were selected nationwide to come to Hainan for a nine-day travel-based elderly care experience. On the day of the event, Wang Haima, Chairman of Tianlaiquan Elderly Care Group, and Chen Xinbao, President of Tianlaiquan Elderly Care Group, awarded prizes to the nine Chinese Happy Elders and announced that they would become lifetime honorary members of the Quanling Club. For the next ten years, each elder will receive an annual room credit of 3,000 yuan and two sets of “Nandao · Chaxin” organic tea valued at 1,960 yuan, provided by Tianlaiquan Elderly Care Group.
