U.S. private equity firm Spanos Barber Jesse & Co (hereinafter referred to as SBJ) recently announced it has completed a recapitalization of luxury canvas tent camping solutions provider Under Canvas Inc, with the terms of the deal not yet disclosed.
Under Canvas is based in Bozeman, Montana, USA, and specializes in providing luxury canvas tent camping solutions and outdoor adventure experiences. Currently, Under Canvas operates four professional campgrounds in four U.S. national parks: Zion (Zion National Park), Moab Canyon Park, Yellowstone (Yellowstone National Park), and Glacier (Glacier National Park). The camping facilities they offer to visitors include canvas tents inspired by nomadic lifestyles, luxury mattresses and linens, with optional shower rooms and restrooms; services available to guests include curated adventure activities, outdoor picnics, daily housekeeping, and some group activities. The company also hosts weddings, corporate events, parties, brand experiences, boutique tent hotels, and various other events.

Under Canvas not only allows them to enjoy pristine scenery through camping but also offers innovative tents and hotel-style concierge services, making it highly suitable for family vacation needs.
Sarah Dusek, co-founder and CEO of Under Canvas, said that the company plans to steadily expand its brand influence in the coming years by adding new campgrounds in Great Smoky Mountains (Great Smoky Mountains National Park), Grand Canyon (Grand Canyon), and Mount Rushmore (Mount Rushmore National Memorial).
