After20years of development, especially driven by the2022Beijing Winter Olympics and the national goal of3100 million people participating in ice and snow sports, China’s ski industry has now reached a certain scale. A number of highly praised equipment, gear, and service brands, as well as outstanding management talents, have emerged. To strengthen and enhance brand awareness, product quality, service levels, and management capabilities within the ski industry, the organizing committee of the China Ski Industry Summit Forum and the Preparatory Committee of the China Ski Resort Four-Season Operation Cooperation Alliance have jointly decided to launch the “2018China Ski Industry Annual Awards” initiative.
A judging committee composed of industry professionals and experts—including Dan Zhaolian (former Secretary-General of the Chinese Ski Association), Li Jianhong (Chairman of Xinjiang Silk Road Ski Resort), He Ping (President of Hebei Laiyuan Qishan Ski Resort), Liang Yanping (Deputy Chairman of Zhangjiakou Wanlong Ski Resort), Du Wei (Executive Director of Beijing-Zhangjiakou Winter Olympics Research Center), Tian Changbo (former Chairman of Beijing Sports Leisure Industry Association), Li Xiaoming (Chairman of Beijing Ski Association), Tang Yunsong (Deputy Director of Heilongjiang Sports Industry Academic Exchange Base), and Qiu Lin (Founder of the China Ski Industry Summit Forum)—is set to begin its work. The awards also enjoy strong support from the Heilongjiang Ski Association, Beijing Ski Association, and Zhangjiakou Ski Association.
According to the selection schedule, the awards process will combine online voting, big data analysis, and judging committee voting. The final results will be determined through a comprehensive tally of these three data sets to ensure maximum fairness and transparency.
It is understood that 2018the 2018 China Ski Industry Annual Awards “Gala Ceremony” will be held on the evening of5month17, alongside the “2018China (Beijing) International Mountain Sports & Technical Equipment Exhibition” (International Mountain Expo), where the lists of winners for “Outstanding Equipment Brand of Chinese Ski Resorts,” “Outstanding Equipment Brand of Chinese Ski Gear,” “Outstanding Service Brand of Chinese Ski Resorts (Ski Schools),” and “Top Ten Outstanding Managers of China’s Ski Industry” will be revealed.
