On January 13-14, the 2018 Zhejiang Snail RV Spring Festival Gala, hosted by the Zhejiang Snail RV Camping Base, was grandly inaugurated within the scenic beauty of the national-level Xixi Wetland. At this gala, witnessed by numerous domestic and international RV manufacturers and industry peers, the “Zhejiang Snail RV Sales & Exhibition Center” was ceremoniously established. Themed “United in Purpose, Jointly Pursuing Development,” the event aimed to enhance the influence and brand appeal of Zhejiang Snail RVs within China’s RV community and to actively promote the development of the RV industry and the new model of self-drive RV tourism in the Yangtze River Delta region.
This gathering saw Zhejiang Snail RV unite over 50 renowned domestic RV manufacturers, authorized import agents, and RV component producers. During the event, Shen Guobin, Chairman of Zhejiang Snail RV, and Weng Yandong, General Manager, delivered speeches on topics such as establishing the Snail RV Sales & Exhibition Center and its future prospects. The response from attending manufacturers and peers was overwhelmingly positive, with high praise and commendation for Zhejiang Snail RV’s achievements in 2017, as well as strong affirmation and expectations for its future leadership role in the RV industry across Zhejiang Province and even the wider Yangtze River Delta.
Currently, Zhejiang Snail RV Sales Co., Ltd. has represented over a dozen well-known domestic and international RV brands, having sold hundreds of RVs, and has become the largest RV (motorhome) sales leader in the Yangtze River Delta, integrating RV sales, parts supply, after-sales maintenance, and customization. It has been the regional sales champion for three consecutive years. The establishment of the 2018 Xixi Snail RV Sales Center will provide enthusiasts of RV self-drive tourism in Zhejiang Province and surrounding areas with the most comprehensive product selection and after-sales service assurance.
Additionally, Tian Minghui, General Manager of Tangshan Yate Special Vehicle Co., Ltd., Shen Wei, General Manager of Jiangsu Jinghang Auto Co., Ltd., Liu Nantu, General Manager of Truma Mechanical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Xue Jiawei, General Manager of Suzhou Rongsilicon New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., also delivered important speeches, expressing optimism about Zhejiang Snail RV’s growth in the coming years. The participating domestic and international brands all participated in significant signing and plaque-presenting ceremonies with Zhejiang Snail RV Sales & Exhibition Center, acknowledging its contributions to industry development over the past years and committing to continued collaboration.
On the afternoon of the 14th, leaders of participating manufacturers and RV sales professionals also held a friendly football match in the RV industry at the Zhejiang Snail RV Camping Site, followed by a visit to the national 5A-levelscenictourist area — Xixi Wetland, where they praised the uniquely delicate landscapes of the Jiangnan region. The Zhejiang Snail Self-Drive & RV Camping Site is located within the Hangzhou national 5Ascenicarea of Xixi Wetland, covering an area of over 60 acres. It is Zhejiang’s first integrated self-drive & RV camping base that offers RV lifestyle experiences, self-drive RV tour routes, outdoor camping experiences, large-scale event hosting, and branded RV sales & exhibitions. Since its establishment in 2014, the Zhejiang Snail Self-Drive & RV Camping Site has hosted nearly 200,000 domestic and international RV self-drive tourists and outdoor camping enthusiasts. After more than three years of rapid development, Zhejiang Snail RV has earned unanimous recognition within the industry and widespread acclaim among RV self-drive travelers both in China and abroad. Each year since its founding, it has been rated among the nation’s top ten camping sites by the media, was named a Yangtze River Delta provincial-level model demonstration campsite by the Provincial Tourism Bureau in 2017, and received honors such as Hangzhou’s Advanced Unit in the Leisure Industry in 2016.
The Zhejiang Snail Camping Site not only features a variety of well-known domestic and international RVs but also regularly hosts high-end conferences, outdoor team-building activities, private gatherings, and unique music festivals, greatly enriching the camping experiences of local outdoor enthusiasts. After the establishment of the Zhejiang Snail RV Club in May 2017, eight self-drive RV tours were organized for RV enthusiasts from within and outside the province, boosting the self-drive tourism market at various scenic spots and bringing new development opportunities for local tourism resources. In 2018, the club plans to collaborate with scenic spots and camping sites across the province and neighboring regions to promote a new model combining RV rentals with RV route tourism.
