Traveling often involves staying at hotels. Most people, considering cost-effectiveness, usually opt for budget hotels to meet their needs. But sometimes, there are hotels that can win you over with their unique charm.

1. Jiangyan Island Resort Smog Fisherman's Leisure Cottage

The Smog Fisherman's Leisure Cottage is located on Jiangyan Island in Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province. The island is covered with lush vegetation and boasts beautiful and enchanting scenery. Its forest park is praised as having "a sunset glow shared with a lone duck, autumn waters blending seamlessly with the boundless sky."

The Smog Cottage is situated in just such an environment. Unlike conventional brick or wooden structures, the cottage utilizes EPS new material technology, featuring a nature-close architectural form that ensures environmentally friendly materials while better blending into the surroundings. Of course, its adorable Q-shape is also very charming—no girl could possibly dislike it.

2. Water Curtain Cave Hotel

Located at Chile’s Magic Mountain Lodge, the rooms are situated right beneath a waterfall. Guests access them via a suspension bridge, making it feel like living in a water curtain cave.

The surrounding area is dense forest, with eagles flying overhead and leopards sprinting through the woods. Strolling on the suspension bridge offers an exceptionally close connection with nature. There are 13 rooms, each with its own private bathroom. In addition, there are 11 cabins, each able to accommodate 4–6 people.

3. Icehotel

If you love the world of ice and snow, you definitely have to check this place out. Icehotel is located in Lapland, Sweden. The hotel’s 65 rooms all feature beds made of ice, so they are rebuilt every winter.

Although the indoor temperature is minus 5°C, it’s still much better than the minus 15°C outdoors. The hotel also has a bar, sauna, and restaurant. Isn’t this the kind of hotel you’d love to stay in during the hot summer months to experience some coolness?
