The most romantic corner of Taipei Flower Expo – The Secret Rose Garden of The Little Prince!

“What is essential is invisible to the eye.” In his own planet, The Little Prince had a beloved rose. If you haven’t found yours yet,thenhead tothe Rose Garden at Taipei Expo Xinsheng Park!

This dreamy urban garden is home to over 600 varieties of roses, which bloom in a dazzling array of colors, making it feel like a hidden garden in a palace!

Even when it’s not the peak flowering season, the Rose Garden remains beautiful.

Ms. Li Wenli from Taipei City’s Department of Parks and Street Lights mentioned that this rose garden was originally a space for showcasing potted plants during the Flower Expo. After the event ended, a staff member with deep expertise in roses began tending to it again, planting over 600 varieties and about 1,800 rose plants here, including rare British and French roses such as Othello, Charlotte, and Evelyn — all exquisitely elegant.

The roses here usually bloom most vibrantly in spring and autumn, but due to seasonal influences this year, they are more abundant around December. Meanwhile, the adjacent Botanical Garden in the Xinsheng Park area is currently hosting a pressed flower exhibition — don’t miss the chance to see roses in another form while you’re here.
