The SAIC Maxus brand's original factory RV RV80 is developed based on the Maxus V80 light commercial vehicle, offering a total of six versions including the B-type short wheelbase and the long wheelbase C-type. All are equipped with a VM diesel engine originating from Europe, delivering up to 136 horsepower, with a maximum torque output of 330 N·m, paired with an AMT automatic transmission. The combined fuel consumption is only 8.3L per 100 km. Moreover, the entire series meets China's National V emission standards and comes with rich safety configurations:

ABS + EBD + EBA + ASR + ESP + tire pressure monitoring system + seatbelt warning system + driver and front passenger airbags + ISO FIX child seat interface + front and rear ventilated disc brakes, all of which protect the safety of passengers inside the vehicle from the inside out. This is the first of its kind among domestic motorhomes. It’s also worth mentioning that the RV80 series has a body length not exceeding 6 meters, making it easy to drive with just a C1 license.
