Spring Ride China,originally started as an initiative encouraging young people to cycle home for the Spring Festival, filling a gap in winter cycling. Over the past three years, with more and more participants joining in and the power of the internet, it has gradually evolved into a brand-new cross-sector phenomenon integrating culture, sports, tourism, and public welfare—bringing a breath of fresh spring air to China’s cycling industry.

As early as two years ago, in 2016 when the first Spring Ride China event was held, the Asia Bike Show had invited Mr. Zhuge Qi, the founder of Spring Ride, to give a keynote presentation;

Last year, Spring Ride China’s 24-meter-long booth during the Asia Bike Show must still be fresh in everyone’s memory.

This year, Spring Ride China takes it up a notch—with a massive 90-square-meter booth, it will showcase the full charm of this original Chinese IP through two major sections: [Exhibition]and [Activities]!

[Exhibition Section]

In the center of the booth, designed in the style of a traditional Chinese courtyard, is the audience seating area. On the three surrounding walls are three display sections: “The Journey of Spring Ride China”, “Extraordinary Journeys”, “Stories of Spring Riders”;

For this exhibition, the Spring Ride organizing committee has invited four caring enterprises that support Spring Ride to showcase: “Freefish Outdoor Speakers”, “761 Family Trailer”, “SpeedRide EBIKE”, “TimeTrail Outdoor Gear” jointly set up exhibition booths to explore an all-new model of co-creation through content + brand collaboration.

SpeedRide EBIKE opens up unlimited possibilities for mass spring cycling;

FreeFish, the leading outdoor speaker brand, brings energy to Outdoor 2.0 with music;

The 761 Family Trailer initiates a brand-new model for parent-child nature education;

TimeTrail advocates the “storage culture” of outdoor gear, which will be a refreshing experience for you.

[Event Section]

In the center of this “courtyard” is a stage area designed like a traditional opera stage, where several major performances will be rolled out over the four-day exhibition.

Highlight 1: Story Sharing Session – “Spring Riders”

Representatives of Spring Riders from across the country will share with you: Spring Cycling, the extraordinary journeys of ordinary people.

Highlight 2: Story Sharing – Cycling Around China with My Daughter

A great dad in China, who spent 761 days traveling across the country with his daughter, was widely reported by People’s Daily, CCTV, Phoenix News, and other media. Before the upcoming summer vacation, hearing his story might just give you more inspiration.

Highlight 3: “Riding Through China” Music Sharing Session

Here comes another fun one: outdoor musician Qizi, riding a bike and playing guitar, set off from Guangzhou on April 1st to begin his epic journey around China. He plans to spend a year traveling the whole country, holding 100 live concerts to spread cycling and original music. The magnetic pull of the Spring Cycling Culture Exhibition must have been too strong — it attracted Qizi all the way to Nanjing.

As the author of the theme song for Spring Cycling China, “Spring Riders,” he will release the MV and a series of original music works at this event. Together with Qi Hailiang, founder of the 761 Family Trailer, and others, he’ll form a band to rock the exhibition site.

[ONE MORE THING!]

The above is just an introduction to the Spring Cycling China Cultural Exhibition booth. On Sunday, June 30th, from 9:30–10:30 am at the main stage area of the Asian Cycling Exhibition, Zhuge Qi, initiator of Spring Cycling China, will launch the 2018 Spring Cycling China documentary “Spring Riders” as well as the 2019 Spring Cycling China inauguration ceremony.

The documentary is produced by Zhuhai Ben Film, with Director Ben being a renowned figure in China’s outdoor media scene, having previously worked on major productions such as the Shenzhen Mofang 200KM documentary. The “Spring Riders” documentary is a meticulously crafted work he produced over six months, following dozens of riders on the road after driving nearly 10,000 kilometers across the country earlier this year.

With so many exciting performances about to take place,

the editor can’t wait to teleport to the exhibition right now.

From June 28th to July 1st,

at the 2018 Asian Cycling Exhibition, Booth 7.1200,

come to Spring Cycling China to experience heartwarming, original Chinese IPs.
