A life without experiences and attempts is tasteless. PRO TREK explores the unknown with you.

Last updated 2026-11-08 — In the outdoor hiking community, there's something quite interesting — we're often awestruck by the breathtaking scenery before us, or sometimes our own hearts are unexpectedly moved. Hiking strikes the perfect balance between the two.
A life without experiences and attempts is tasteless.
PRO TREK explores the unknown with you.

At every family or friends gathering, someone always asks me a question I can never quite explain: "Why are you always in the mountains? Can't you just be normal for once?" My take is: Yes, I can. Of course I can. But living too normally can easily get boring.

There’s one more thing I’d like to share with everyone: the PRW-60YAE-1A hiking watch offers two wearing options — hook-and-loop fastener or wrist strap — allowing you to choose based on the hiking conditions. For instance, at the extremely low temperatures on Muztagh Ata, taking off your gloves to check the watch data could easily lead to frostbite on your wrist. Opting for the hook-and-loop method provides better protection, and the hook accessory can also be attached to a backpack or clothing other than your wrist. This is just one example of the user-friendly design that PRO TREK consistently considers for outdoor climbers. That’s all I’ll say about hiking gear for now.

Since my climbing schedule isn’t over yet, this article is written during a quick break at the Muztagh Ata base camp. There’s still preparation work to be done for the upcoming summit push in the coming days. But one thing is certain: the PRW-60YAE-1A hiking watch will definitely play an indispensable role in this Muztagh Ata climb.

In closing, I’d like to say: climbing never stops, and neither should your life. You don’t have to imitate others — you can never truly be someone else. Just be yourself. Walk your own path with purpose, even if it’s a repetitive one. Don’t be afraid.
