On August 28, the 2018 Third Pole Ultimate Off-Road Rally (The 2nd The Third Pole Acerally) officially kicked off at Gesar King Square in Yushu, Qinghai.

"Speed and Passion" Unleashed in the No-Man’s Land
With an average altitude of over 4,500 meters, a distance of more than 7,000 kilometers, and a duration of fifteen days, "Speed and Passion" unfolded in the no-man’s land. The convoy set off from Yushu, Qinghai, crossed the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Kunlun Mountains, and Pamir Plateau, connecting areas such as the Yangtze River, Yellow River, and Shuanghu Purog Kangri Glacier, facing the challenges of the world’s largest no-man’s land.
Every off-road enthusiast has a hero’s dream, and the "Third Pole Intermediate Off-Road Rally" created this opportunity to push the limits. Nearly 80 participants from Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangxi, and other regions competed fiercely in the event.
Jackery traveled at high speed with the contestants, crossed icy rivers, traversed deserts, and retraced ancient routes — a perfect experience blending culture, nature, and sports.
Jackery Lights Up the Arena, Becoming the Best Support
Most off-road events face power supply challenges — numerous personnel, long-distance travel, and environments such as plateaus, glaciers, and rivers are harsh, making electricity essential for the daily lives of drivers. When tackling vast no-man’s lands, beyond seeking more reliable power solutions, conventional power station models have been phased out by more challenging events.
To ensure the safety of drivers and staff and the smooth running of the event, the organizers upgraded the basic equipment comprehensively and invited Jackery — a brand specializing in high-power, high-capacity portable outdoor power stations — to collaborate. Jackery’s power stations powered the entire event throughout, becoming a highlight.
During the off-road race, due to the intense competition and high altitude, some participants and staff experienced altitude hypoxia. Jackery portable power stations provided mobile electricity on-site for oxygen generators. They also powered communication and digital devices used throughout the event, such as mobile phones, walkie-talkies, cameras, drones, and car refrigerators.

Jackery Tackles the No-Man’s Land with No Power Pressure
In the harsh environment of the no-man’s land, without access to generators, Jackery portable power stations and matching 100W solar panels supported the entire event’s mobile electricity needs.
Using automotive-grade power lithium-ion cells as the main charging source, with low heat generation and strong safety; additionally, producing no noise or black smoke, Jackery is environmentally friendly. It blends seamlessly with the natural scenery of the no-man’s land traversed by the ultimate off-road race, lighting up the wilderness.
