On the 23rd, under the influence of a tropical depression or peripheral circulation of a typhoon, northern, southern, Hengchun Peninsula, northeastern, and eastern Taiwan will have brief showers or thunderstorms. Other areas may also have localized brief showers or thunderstorms, with a chance of localized heavy rain. From the 24th to the 29th, affected by a low-pressure belt, central and southern as well as southeastern Taiwan will see brief showers or thunderstorms, while other regions may also experience localized brief showers or thunderstorms.

Temperatures over the week will range between 26–33°C, with Taipei and New Taipei reaching up to 34°C. Additionally, Tropical Depression 998 hPa will be closest to Taiwan on the 23rd and is very likely to become Typhoon Wukong, the 11th typhoon. If it forms, there is a high probability that the Central Weather Bureau will issue a typhoon warning.
