Japanese MOS Burger has recently launched limited-time summer items — “Nantacos” and “Nancaree Dog”! These seasonal offerings are actually a revival of MOS Burger Japan’s limited-edition “Indian Flatbread Series” that debuted in the summer of 1996 and was hugely popular at the time. The series was also brought back as a limited-time item in 2014, achieving excellent sales, which is why it’s making its third comeback.

Nantacos is a dish that combines Mexican tortilla chips with Indian flatbread, and is one of MOS Burger’s original creations. The flatbread is topped with fragrant beef patty, refreshing lettuce and diced tomatoes, finished with a sprinkle of Mexican tortilla chips and rich cheese sauce. When the rich-flavored meat sauce meets the crispy vegetables and tortilla chips, paired with the chewy Indian flatbread, it’s irresistible bite after bite.

Nancaree Dog (Nancaree Dog)Indian flatbread is paired with a sausage drizzled with a rich curry sauce, topped with some chopped onions to keep the taste fresh. The curry sauce is specially made with apple juice, mango chutney, as well as sautéed onions and ground beef, where the natural sweetness and spicy kick add plenty of depth to the flavor. The sweet, sour, and spicy aroma is incredibly appetizing.
