Taiwan’s first salmon-themed cooking classroom, “Merit Salmon Kitchen,” is launching a series of Halloween cooking classes in October. The courses are creatively designed and taught by Merit’s two head chefs, Chef Huang Can-ting (Cola) and Chef Tseng Po-shan (Little Mountain). The menu includes Salmon Monster Fingers, Flying Salmon in a Pastry Coffin, Salmon Pumpkin Curry Horror Night, and Salmon Mummy Scallion Pancakes.
Each single-person Halloween cooking class costs NT$1,500, while a duo ticket is NT$2,800. After the class, participants will receive a special gift: Merit’s hand-selected Western-style salmon sausages, the only ones in Taiwan made from finely processed salmon and slow-smoked with natural walnut wood.
