Beat the summer heat at the Love River in Kaohsiung during the nine-day “Love River Water Carnival,” starting from Saturday, June 30 to Sunday, July 8. This lively event by the Love River in Kaohsiung offers a variety of exciting activities, including the Cool Summer Market, the high-energy Love River Rock Concert, the most romantic love songs on water, as well as refreshing and thrilling water-based activities that will make this summer unforgettable.

The “Love River Water Activities” are thrilling and exciting — come and take on the challenge with everyone else. Water experiences include tandem kayaking, single-person stand-up paddleboarding, and family-style dragon boat boards, while adrenaline-pumping water competitions feature: swinging into the Love River, sumo wrestling on the water, kayak tug-of-war, and a water soccer match — gather your team for an aquatic World Cup showdown.

Taiwan’s first-ever “Water Love Song Competition” lets you sing your heart out loud — no need to wait for Qixi Festival. Share your deepest love messages on the romantic Love River at night, with generous prizes for all. All 12 finalists will receive awards.

The Love River Water Carnival features a variety of exciting water-based activities.

The “Love River Rock Concert” features an incredible lineup, including breakout star “Anna,” Golden Melody Award-winning band “Mr. Music,” national singing competition champion and Rukai princess “Jin Xiuli,” and Golden Melody-winning band “Harley’s Band.” There will be group cheers both on and off stage to rock this summer.

The “Cool Summer Market” not only includes well-known and local brands, but also features a fringe market, food trucks, and tricycles offering both food and drinks.
