Good news for travelers who love shopping in Japan!Don Quijote, also known as “Kojima Den Hall” for its famously low prices on sundries, daily necessities, and cosmetics, has recently partnered with FamilyMart to launch a new hybrid store “Don Quijote × FamilyMart,” with three locations already open—making shopping sprees even more convenient for travelers.

This experimental store aims to enhance industry competitiveness by not only offering a wider variety of goods but also creating an irresistible shopping environment. The store adopts Don Quijote’s signature compressed display method, using taller shelves than typical convenience stores to give the impression of merchandise reaching the ceiling.

The hybrid store offers 5,000 more items than a regular convenience store, including about 2,800 products supplied by Don Quijote. The selection of snacks is more than three times larger, and there’s also a significant increase in the variety of processed foods and alcoholic beverages.
