In recent years, an increasing number of renowned Japanese restaurants have entered the Taiwanese market, including Ippudo Ramen and Sushiro. Now, nana, a Tokyo-based establishment specializing in soba banquet cuisine, has opened its first overseas branch in Taipei’s Xinyi District, offering nearly 20 different ways to enjoy soba noodles, aiming to be the best kaiseki-style experience in Taiwan.

Sushi, tempura, and soba noodles are known as Japan’s three great Edo-period cuisines. To serve the most authentic soba, nana specially imports ultra-soft natural water from Mount Fuji, and uses Hokkaido-grown Nihachi-style soba buckwheat. The restaurant rigorously controls the water quality, ratio, temperature, and humidity.

The restaurant is located on the 45th floor of Breeze Xinyi, offering a 180-degree high-altitude view. Its décor combines modern minimalism with the fresh wooden tones of traditional Japanese style. There are also spacious and comfortable private rooms. The operators aim to provide diners with high-quality soba cuisine, along with a luxurious space and breathtaking views, all at approachable prices.
