The annual "Penghu Maritime Fireworks Festival" will shine across the Penghu night sky from April 20 to June 25. During the event, fireworks will be set off at 9:00 PM every Monday and Thursday in the Guanyinting Park area of Magong City, lasting for fifteen minutes. The dazzling display of fireworks invites visitors to celebrate the arrival of spring in Penghu together.

The Penghu Maritime Fireworks Festival has been held since 2003 and has gained considerable popularity both domestically and internationally over the years, attracting large numbers of tourists during the event period. This year's Penghu Fireworks Festival is themed "Happy Orchid Island, Shining Around the World," featuring performances by internationally renowned pyrotechnic teams to offer visitors the most spectacular visual feast. The festival coincides with Mother’s Day and the Dragon Boat Festival, so the organizers have specially added extra shows on Saturdays, making a total of 22 performances. The opening event on April 20 will begin at 7:30 PM, while the other shows will start promptly at 8:00 PM.
