Another iconic eatery closes its doors — the pioneering kaiseki restaurant Shintori announces closure

Shintori’s kaiseki cuisine was often served to important guests, especially Japanese business travelers. It was also listed in the Taipei Michelin Guide this year. On June 23rd, it announced on Facebook that it would cease operations on July 1st due to lease expiration.
