Apart from Yilan and Hualien, the weather this week remains mostly unstable. The western half of the island and Taitung are expected to have rain over the weekend, especially in the south where the probability of rainfall is higher. Those planning holidays are advised to keep an eye on weather changes in advance.
During weekdays, the western half of the island will frequently experience afternoon thunderstorms, with increasing occurrences of sunny-to-cloudy and then thunderstorm conditions. Temperatures generally range between 26–30°C, while the highest temperatures in basin terrains and southern Pingtung can reach up to 35°C.
