Kaohsiung’s new attraction, Zhan’er Warehouse, has recently unveiled a brand-new highlight: an all-white carousel located right by the seaside. It is the only carousel in Taiwan built alongside the ocean, offering not only a fairytale-like and glamorous ambiance but also the chance to enjoy a gentle sea breeze while gazing at the ocean view — the scene looks straight out of an idol drama.

Zhan’er Warehouse is a historic building located at Pier 2 of Kaohsiung Harbor, with a history of 104 years. Through collaboration between the city government, the harbor company, and land development firms, the warehouse has been transformed into a cultural and creative hub, gathering artisans from various fields and representative Taiwanese brands, making it a pioneering example of the transformation of Kaohsiung’s old port area.
